What you keep.

Your share is worked out on what the card actually sells for, not on what anybody thinks it is worth, so there is one number to look at and it is the one on the receipt.

What that share comes to depends on what is in the box, so we would rather look at your cards and tell you than print a grid and have it be wrong about half of them. Send us a rough idea of what you have and we will come back to you with the numbers for it.

How your share is worked out.

Everything sells through eBay, so the sale price is public and you can watch it happen rather than taking our word for it. Out of that sale eBay takes its own cut before anybody else is paid, the card has to be posted, and what is left over is split.

The useful thing to know is that the cost of selling a card barely moves whether it is worth five dollars or five hundred, so the dearer a card sells for, the larger the share of it you keep. That is why there is no single percentage to quote.

Why postage pulls against that.

A cheaper card goes out in a tracked envelope that costs us well under a dollar, and a dearer one has to travel in a bubble mailer that costs about six times as much. That jump happens at one point in the range rather than gradually, so the share does not climb in a clean straight line, and the honest shape of it has a dip in the middle.

The fees.

A single card is $1.99 to list, and that is charged whether the card sells or not, because the scanning, pricing, photographing and listing all happen whether a buyer turns up or not. A bulk lot is $2.99 for the whole lot rather than a fee on every card in it.

The minimum, and why it is low.

A single card needs to be worth $5 to get a listing of its own, and anything under that goes into a bulk lot of 10 to 15 cards instead. We build the lots, because that is what fits a tracked envelope. The point of that floor is that nothing gets turned away, since the cheap half of a collection is usually the half other places will not touch.

When you get paid.

You are paid within 3 business days of eBay releasing the funds to us. eBay holds the funds on a sale until delivery is confirmed, so the clock starts when the money reaches us rather than when the card sells, so the clock we can actually promise against is the one that starts when the money reaches us.

The terms

  • $1.99 listing fee per card. Charged whether the card sells or not.
  • $5 minimum on a single card. Anything cheaper goes into a bulk lot instead, so nothing gets turned away.
  • $2.99 a lot instead of per card. Lots run 10 to 15 cards and we build them for you, because that is what fits a tracked envelope.
  • Paid within 3 business days of eBay releasing the funds to us. eBay holds the funds on a sale until delivery is confirmed, so the clock starts when the money reaches us rather than when the card sells.
  • You get the cards to us, we cover them from there. Use tracking, and insure anything over $100, and we send you a list of what arrived within 2 business days.
  • Everything sells on eBay. Every payment runs through eBay, so you see the real sale price rather than taking our word for it.

Tell us what you have.

A rough idea is enough to get started, so you do not need to list every card or know what anything is worth, and we will come back to you with what we can do.

However you would rather we reach you.
Sets, years, anything graded, anything still sealed, and whatever else comes to mind.
