Privacy policy.

This page explains what we do with your information when you contact us, and it is written plainly because you should not need a lawyer to read it.

What we collect

We only hold what you choose to send us. When you call, text, email, message us or use the form on this site about buying or selling cards, we keep the contact details you used and whatever you told us about your cards.

If we buy a collection from you or sell you a card, we keep a record of that sale so our books are accurate.

We do not run advertising trackers on this site, we do not use cookies for advertising or analytics, and we do not buy contact lists or collect information about you from anywhere else.

The form on this site

When you send the consignment form, what you typed is stored in our own database on Cloudflare, which is the company that hosts this site, and a copy is emailed to us so we actually see it. We also record the network address the form came from, which is the only way we have to spot a flood of automated submissions, and it is not used for anything else and not shown to anybody.

Nothing replies to you automatically. A person reads what you sent and writes back.

Why we keep it

  • To answer you and make you an offer on your cards
  • To complete a sale and arrange shipping if one is needed
  • To keep accurate business records, which the tax rules require

We do not use your information to market to you unless you ask us to.

Who sees it

Nobody outside the business, and we do not sell it. The only exception is the ordinary services a sale actually needs, such as a payment app you chose to pay with, a shipping carrier that needs an address to deliver a card, or the hosting and email services this site runs on. Each of those only gets what that specific job requires.

We would share information if the law required it, and we would tell you unless we were legally prevented from doing so.

How long we keep it

If you contact us and nothing comes of it, we delete what you sent once the conversation is clearly finished. Records of an actual purchase or sale are kept for as long as the tax rules require, which is normally several years.

Our social media accounts

We use software we built ourselves to post to our own accounts. It only publishes our own posts about our own cards, and it does not read your profile, collect anything about people who follow or message us, or touch anyone else's account.

When you message us on a social platform, those messages sit on that company's systems and are covered by their own privacy policy as well as this one.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do it unless a tax record rules it out. Send a message to either of the contacts below and say what you want.

Children

This business is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
